Thanks for visiting my website, I am Darren originally from Manchester but now lucky enough to be working here in southern snowdonia as a chef in a hotel for the last 9 years, which also is a stunning area for me to participate in my passion for photography. I don’t have any particular kind of subject that i like to photograph, it depends what catches my eye when i am out and about in my quest for my next photograph.
My hobby started around 5 years ago when i purchased a Fuji Bridge camera, which i upgraded shortly after for a model with more advanced features, by this time i had the “photo bug” and i needed a Dslr. I plunged for an second hand Olympus E500 Twin lens kit which was amazing and so much better quality that my previous bridges cameras, this did me proud for 12 months while i saved up for my current camera which is the Canon Eos 40D. I have had this nearly 2 years now. My main body i use now is a Canon EOS 7D. See My Kit bag for more details.
I shoot all my photographys in raw, which are then, edited using Photoshop cs5 & Adobe Lightroom.
